Boating Fun

Funny story behind this one: Ella was really brave and wanted to go in the little boat by herself. So, she got in and we let her out about 10 feet and tied it off to our boat. Within seconds, the rope came untied from the boat and she was set asail by herself. Within a split second of realizing that she was loose, she started to scream and cry. Of course we had to rub it in and wave goodbye to her. Eventually Dad had to jump in and swim after her. Does anyone realize how cold the Puget Sound is? Both Chuck and Ella were unhappy by the time they got back aboard.

Taylor working on his tan. Check out the sweet hair. Taylor is going into 10th grade this year. A big high schooler.

For some reason I think of the "White Wedding" Video when I see Ella in her headdress.

So fun to torment the kids, Bill and I like to keep the back windows rolled down until the last second when we go through a car wash, good times! Tay is all grown up, Ella is starting kindergarten?

I like the carwash. I remember laying on the floor of the car as a kid going thru a car wash and I was really terrified.

Ella is all ready for kindergarten. She is excited. I am a little anxious as Ella is about a foot taller than any of the other kids. She deals with it well but it will be interesting to see how she fits in. She seems to grown up already. Hope Cali is good.

Lar,
Happy to report school has improved for Owen, he still thinks it's a little too long. I am with you, I feel the need to protect and control when it comes to my kids. I also recall that once school starts full time you are on your own. I am trying to take a step back, at the same time if any kid ever laid a finger on my little Owie I would be kicking some little kid ass!
